Absolutely. That's what makes the lane illegal to use solely for passing without turning like so many people love to do.

The concept of the turn lane(s) is understood. It's the morons that have their turn signal on but pass the turn(s) just to get to the last one. Yes, there are times where it is impossible to indicate ahead of time, but between CiCi' and the light, there is plenty of time. Same goes for Dodge and Pegg.

I agree that it is risky and kind of dumb to ride that lane, especially with your turn signal on. I don't do it. But it is not illegal.

Personally, I'd rather get where I'm going than be technically right and crash.

If it's the next available entrance, then EVERYBODY heading north on Rt.4from 235 is violating the law if they get in that lane prior to the last driveway which is about 15' from the turn.

there's nowhere near as much traffic or businesses on this side of 235 (EXCEPT DURING RUSH HOUR) so it boggles me as to why people start jumping over from kmart/target but i guess i wouldn't be as fast as to except when i'm trying to get over, closer to the wawa, and there's a line of cars already there and won't let me over.

Anywhere for that matter, bugs the sh!t out of me. Turning fluid is high in price and hard to find these days. One better are the people that use their signal WHILE making the turn.
