Persistent minor ache

My doctor is over an hour away so I do not bother going too much.Would you bother going if you had a persistent pain when you moved your arm upwards toward you.It does not hurt otherwise.So is it worth it or not?.Had it about 3 months.
I know this must sound like a hyperchondriacs post but just wondering if anyone had experience.I also have a tiny red raised dot that has been there about a year in the same area.
I am a bit embarrased that I am posting this but heck I do not know you to bump in the street!

I would get a doctors opinion. If its nothing then you can stop worrying and if it is something they can treat it. Take care of your body....you only get one.
