I switched our long distance carrier to CloseCall America last year.  They charge 5 cents a minute and bill in 6 second increments.  They are also offering local service for a lower price and no hidden fees.  Just happen to have the bill right here...800-845-2215  Right now...

I have Nextel too and love it!  I had Verizon for 4 years before and had no problem with the customer service, but I could not get a signal in the Ranch Club.  Nextel has expensive phones but offer deals on their website.  The 2-way is great and they have more towers in the area...
