20 years ago we had contractor guards at NESEA running radar traps. Not a real cop to be seen anywhere, other than the MSP and deputies doing their driving training on the runway.

Well, I did get here in 1993, but have never really spent any time at NESEA. I was speaking of Pax itself.

Yup. It was 12 or so years ago if memory serves. I got nabbed in a 35 mph zone having just past the sign; cop said I was doing 48 when I passed him; in one of those spots where it goes from 45 to 35.
Don't do that no more though. Fine AND 2 points FYVM. (I didn't SAY it)

Edit: Two phrases that can guarantee you at least get a warning ticket:
Officer: "Do you know how fast you were going?"
Me: "I'm bettin' you're gonna tell me how fast you THINK I was going."
OR

Officer: "Know why I stopped you?"
Me: "No, but I bet you're gonna tell me I was speeding."

I guess I need to quit betting.
