Hubby and I were out one day and in the right turn lane when a vehicle came over in our lane.

My husband is a very good driver, I trust him completely and if it weren’t for his invasive action, we would have been creamed cheese.

I kept saying, how could he have not seen us.

Bring a lot of gum with you....everytime someone does something stupid, spit it at them....if you do it right(especially today with it being warm and they have their window down), you will hit them right in the lap

...THAT'S IT! I freaking saw the car guy LOOK to his right and, lo and behold, here's this big azz bike, headlight blazing, coming down the hill, perfectly silhouetted against the road surface, a bright spot on a sea of asphalt and...he doesn't see him!

That and watching the tires.. are they rolling? Which way are they turning?
...and that is exactly how I operate, but I am surrounded by 3,500#'s of steel and they usually perceive that sooner or later! Not bikes.

People only see what they expect to see.
We do a lot of technicial drawings where I work, NOBODY can check their own work because they see what they expect to be there, not what's actually there.

Kind of off subject here but my son belongs to AMA and he gets this really nice bike magazine every month...It is called "American Motorcyclist"...It has some really good articles and ride information in it...He doesn't read it or could care less about it because only reason he has to be in AMA is because of his racing....I hate to just throw these magazines away....Is there anyone of yous bikes peeps here that might want them? I can drop them off just about anywhere....PM me if you want them and I'll get them to ya...That is all.. Go back to your thread...
