| My thoughts and prayers go out to you, your husband and the rest of your family... I didn't read all 11 or so pages, but there is a story about it on hvfd7.com |

| St. Mary's today has changed it's headline: Bad news and good news on chopper dopper: Cops now say man will live and the good news is that he wasn't drunk when he went down for the count while he was supposed to be in home detention.

| From the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department Company 7 webpage June 9, 2008 At 1237 hours Station 7, EMS Station 79, EMS Station 19, EMS Station 39, and St Mary's ALS were dispatched to the 43900 Block of St Johns Road for a motor vehicle accident involving a motorcycle with possible fire. Rescue Squad 7, Engine 72, and Chief 7 responded with a total of 11 volunteers and arrived on location at 1240 hours to find a single motorcycle with one occupant and no fire. Chief 7 established the "Hollywood Command" while the crews worked together providing patient care for the motorcycle operator until an EMS transport unit could arrive. The motorcycle operator was found to be a priority 1 trauma and would need to be transported to a Trauma Center. The crew from the Squad packaged the patient while Engine 72 handled the Landing Zone for Trooper 2. It was found that the bike was on fire however was extinguished by a bystander prior to our arrival. The patient was transported to the Landing site at St Johns School by Ambulance 397 who turned patient care over to the medic from Trooper 2. Trooper 2 transported the patient to Baltimore Shock Trauma as a priority 1 trauma. All Hollywood units cleared the incident at 1348 hours and Chief 7 (Albert) held the "Hollywood Command". Units: Rescue Squad 7, Engine 72, Chief 7, Ambulance 397, and Medic 2 |
