Thought and prayers are with you... this is the same thing that got my brother.

Is he in a medically induced coma to promote healing?

Here's the non-rag article as reported for today's Enterprise. They did a nice job laying out the details without passing judgement.

Motorcyclist injured in crash

Yes that one is alot better....

I really think he had permission to go...he called before he left..only thing is I was to drive him and I did not..The home detention officer on the scene (I know and talk to often due to the circumstances) knew he was heading to the bank and pharmacy he told me that on the scene..He is the one that cut his bracelet off and followed me to the house for his "box"

somewhere is my bank deposit he had on him..some reason he never got to the bank..I wonder if he came home from the pharmacy because he did not feel well and missed the bank..his blood sugar was high at the trauma hosp...

I just talked to his nurse he is only responding to painful stimuli..

Is there some significance to this? Did she say one way or another?

No she did not say..she said ideally he will only be there for another 7-10 days then he has to leave that facility and go somewhere else...they are having someone meet with me on rehab information. Do they try to rehab peeps if they are not awake yet??

I would think that if he's still in shock trauma than I'm thinking that is your answer. After a certain number of days, he is no longer an "immediate danger" shock trauma patient even if he's still in a coma. He would be moved to a general facility for care.

that doesn't sound good. sounds like long term care facility.
