Thank you it is getting really hard... I really do not think he will ever come home.. and I know mom will not live forever too...I am used to having the kids and all home..gunna be hard to be all alone..

Me too! I think about everything you are going through and pray for your mother and Bill. I just don't post very often.

Do you think bill could be depressed since you don't see him that often? Maybe if you went to see him every day or every other day or so maybe that might help him get better if you help him out by being there and cheering him on to getting better.

Yeah right I am going to be able to afford to drive to BALT and back daily or every other day...220 miles round trip at 10 MPG is expensive (22 X $3 is $66 without any food etc $66 X even 5 is $330 a week and I have not even been making that lately...that is $1320 for a month! Before bills..and I pay all the bills myself and take care of mom/animals...) ...plus daughter is working and neighbor is in school so I do not have a sitter for mom..there is no way I can do it that often...and MIL is sick and FIL has to take care of her so I would have to go myself and I am not doing that..We go up this Wed..He does not seem to care if we are there or not..he has NO attention span at all...I talked yesterday with them in length..he is still not even trying to feed himself. Plus if it was me he would not be heading up there every day

You are doing your best...everyone that knows you, knows that. It would be unrealalistic to try to visit if he was in St Mary's let alone in Baltimore.

When mom was both in the nursing home and in the hosp in Leonardtown I would see her 2-3 X day....I would run over and feed her lunch..come come..go over and feed her dinner then I would usually head back over at night to say good night to her..
