| My last 2 Harleys never made it past the primer gray stage. Both of them project bikes, and I probably spend more in then-year dollars than buying a ready made bike. I'm not saying that I'm old, but back then, a custom bike was one that you painted, bolted stuff on, or paid somebody to do for you. Aftermarket parts were pretty much limited to S&S and Custom Chrome. |

| Well since I was unemployed I tried to stay away from things that I could get carried away on. I needed to try and focus on doing what I needed to do to keep the bills paid and find gainful employment. Now I start a new job on Monday and have a second evening job in the works I figured I could afford to put some time into less practical activities. Hope all is well with you BSGal, ![]()

| Nice bike, I loved mine. Only things I wasn't fond of were spoked wheels and the saddlebag latches. Cleaning spokes sucks and the saddlebags have plastic clips under the buckles that are not the quickest way to get them open/closed.

| Neither is a deal breaker really. The plastic clips don't break but it always aggravated me because I commute and ride mine a lot and use the bags. Seemed like I was always clipping and unclipping. Also there are 2 of them per side to double the aggravation ![]() The spokes are not chromed they are coated with something like zinc or something and get dirty much quicker. When I bought my Ultra I was NOT going to get spoked wheels. I like the cast much better. Is it a private sale or dealer?
