I've ridden it once before and it's pretty much the same as mine, with more power. I like it better than mine, particularly the handlebars. I'm just not wild about the color.

spokes, while pretty, totally suck when it's cleaning day. First bike I owned in HI had Aluminum spokes. Lived on the north shore and I could start shining the spokes and by the time I got around the wheel , I could see the tarnish returning.

I rode it today. Will be riding it a lot more often in the near future. I couldn't hear the gear noise I've heard about in 5th etc. See what you mean about when your idling though. Pretty bumpy. Smooths out nicely though.

I was told yesterday, that if I want to go out for 2-3 hour rides on the weekends, I should go with the softail family instead of the Dyna... Apparently the softail family is just a much more comfortable ride for both driver and passenger...

Anyone rode both styles have any input?

But there are a few Softails I like, I wish I could mix and match them

But I really do like teh Wide Glide... But as said a few ago, I was told anything over an hour ride would be "easier" on a softail than a Dyna....

Aftermarket seats can transform any bike.
The stock seat on mine was good for a couple of hours but a Corbin made it all day comfortable.

Make the rounds.. go test ride a BUNCH of bikes.. all makes and models. Just like a car, why buy without a test ride?

I'm thinking I'd like to take the new Connie 14 for a spin see how it feels. It's a sweet looking bike MADE for long rides.

I have about 10 or so people that have told me I could ride theirs to see how I like it, so I think I'll just start taking them all up on those offers
