The instructors I know that teach the course at CSM don't work for AAHD. They are certified by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation to teach the MSF approved course and are hired as instructors by CSM

I wonder if he means pass the written part of the test. Which makes about as much sense as having you take you D/L test every three years.

No I mean take the MSF riding course every 3 years so you do not forget how to do an emergency stop, swerve, ride through 20 foot cones.

Oh, I thought the guy on the phone with me last night said they are who sponsors the class or something or another, I wasn't sure if that meant the instructors somehow shape or form worked for them or what

That'll be great. Nothing like taking off from work, getting paid for it and just messing around on your bike. If they have started this already, I should be coming up in Nov. I wonder how they will enforce it though? Pass office checks your MSF card when you get a pass so that would do it. I'm going to have to call the safety people and see whats up.

The Rocker is different, which is nice. You won't be riding the same HD everyone else has. The Glides have more aftermarket options. I'm not sure how the 96B engine compares to the Glides. HD says it has a touch less HP and more torque.

Were I an HD guy, it would come down to passengers and cargo. Not sure what you can put on a Rocker, the passenger seat looks like a tad small and I'm not sure how you'd add any sort of luggage or bags. If that's not high on your priority list, it's a better looking ride.
