Have you taken the Motorcycle class?
No, I haven't taken the class...just can't make myself commit to something scheduled for 3 months from now...got no clue what might be happening then!

I got my permit last fall, took the riding test in November, more to see what it entailed than to pass ... failed (fast stop, slow ride, tight corner turn)...

...permit expired (it really is too cold to ride Dec to March!), so I retook the written test in April. Got another permit, and have every intention of passing the riding test in a few weeks.

You really, really should take the MSF course. It's great fun and you learn a lot.

One of the most important things they will teach you is to look where you want to go.
Don't look at the turn, look thru the turn

and don't look down 'cause that's where you'll go

I was following a new rider a couple of weeks ago. She pulled out onto Great Mills Rd., got in the left lane doing 30 mph. My "tutoring" consisted of screaming "SPEED UP!! GO FASTER!!"

I even had on my emergency flashers

I would like to take it, just can't make that in-the-far-away-future commitment.

But, if I fail the driving test this time, I will do it. Last time I looked, they still had some openings for Sept.

And how advanced is the advanced course? They don't seem to fill up as fast. Would that be OK once I get a license, or would I be considered too much of a beginner?
