Section 21-1303 - Operating on laned roadways.

"(d) Driving between lanes of traffic prohibited.- A person may not operate a motorcycle between lanes of traffic or between adjacent lines or rows of vehicles.

(e) Motorcycles not to be driven more than two abreast.- Motorcycles may not be operated more than two abreast in a single lane. "

How ever during the licensing training MD riders must use the given MVA Handbook and in it, it states "Don't Pair Up - Never operate directly alongside another rider"

So yes it IS legal, however it is NOT recommended!

I used to tow a 16 foot wood boat with a 40 HP Johnson (back when a 40 horse was HUGE...) with a '78 Subaru BRAT. 1.5L motor, stick shift. Great little car....

I see nothing noteworthy in towing a boat with an aircraft carrier.
