Stupid movies have been the scariest for me. The remake of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre...no way I'm ever watching that again. Campfire Tales is another one. It was a compilation of short scary stories. And The Ring kind of freaked me out...it was the little girl that did me in. Her jerky movements gave me the creeps.

I will have to go with the Ring, simply because we watched it late one night, the next morning we woke up to a prefect dust ring on the tv. Yup still freaks me out...

That and Signs, I am scared of corn fields now

That's funny - I don't think of Signs as being largely a scary movie, as an inspirational one. I've always said that is a movie about faith, with aliens as a vehicle for the storyline.

That said, it's one of my favorite movies.

It's not really a scary movie, but the fact that you don't know if something is out there. Is very scary to me. Kind of like you don't know if it could happen or not.

I've just been reading the quotes section from it on the Internet Movie database. I forgot how good this movie is. I know a lot of people think it's awful, but it means a lot to me.

I really enjoy all the M. Night Shyamalan movies. I think a lot of people write them off as trying to be scary (and for some reason they're usually marketed as such), but fail to see the actual point.

Like the Village. Didn't like it. I went and saw it all by my lonesome. Not scary at all. Dumb ending.

I'm just big on movie quotes, and unfortunately, I make references to ones that only big movie buffs even GET. Like when Mel Gibson and his family sit down to what he believes will be their last meal, he says he'll have a bacon cheeseburger.

With "EXTRA bacon". I say that a lot, but people just look at me weird.

This movie just has a lot of good ones. I like that little girl when she says people were dancing. "They were dancing like this" (does a little PeeWee Herman).

See, the tough thing about Shymalan is, people are now EXPECTING a big surprise at the end. The Village was just too damned easy to guess, but because people are looking for the "surprise" they miss the rest of the movie.

Oddly enough, I guessed the Sixth Sense about 20 minutes into the movie.

But I *hated* Unbreakable.
