Creature from the Black Lagoon

To all those who lived thru the Golden Years of horror classics will be excited to know that a remake of Creature from the Black Lagoon is in production and scheduled for release in 2008. Cross your fingers...

Like all remakes, it will be trash.

News About The Creature From the Black Lagoon
That movie is such a cornball movie NOW-then it skeered the bejesus outta me.
I like the actor Bill Paxton (loved him in A Simple Plan) lets hope he does a good job!
I'm not much into remakes-God knows that's all that's out there now! Look what they did to "The Thing", and "Invasion of the Body Snatchers"!

True, not all remakes are winners but I did enjoy The Thing with its over the top FX. Another was the Blob, but then how bad can you blow it with just a pile of goo. As a kid I enjoyed the whole radiation and Bug venue so if they did a remake of "THEM" that would be one worth the 12$ x 4 to see. Not including the popcorn and drinks (add 18$).

One of my favs! I hope they do it justice!

The Thing is one of my favorite scary movies ever. Still creeps me out. If you think about it, it was actually a sequal to the first.

Keep Tom Cruise out of it and it will have a better chance. (War of the Worlds)
