Saw it the other day. Tom Hanks is great but Phillip Seymour Hoffman steals the show.

To my knowledge Oliver Stone had nothing to do with the making of this movie so I have to say yes, you can enjoy it.

...when I watched JFK it was fairly recently after reading yet one more rather definitive book on the assassination and it was the most Orwellian feeling I've ever had the absolute rankest propaganda I've ever seen.
