Oh wow, that's how I felt after watching The Grudge. The movie had me sleeping with the lights on for a month! My husband can make that noise that boy made and send me into a tizzy. That's ok, as long as he doesn't mind sleeping with the lights on.

Yeah... The Grudge was good too...

Some people get Japanese horror, other people don't. I, personally, love Japanese horror because it's more intelligent horror and it builds fear through tone and suspense instead of blood and gore... plus no one is ever really safe in the end, it doesn't follow "The Rules" (as seen in Scream), and so it leaves you feeling vulnerable.

That movie scared the crap out of me. To this day I cannot watch it or even a preview of it. Of course, it didn't help that I was living alone in an old farmhouse when I first saw it.
