Fireproof

I just saw a clip from the new Kirk Cameron movie, Fireproof, and wow

It was a scene of firefighters moving a car wreck with injured people off a train track as a train is coming and as soon as they lifted it out of the way the train passed so close to one fireman that it knocked his helmet off.

Wow!

I really want to see this

Do you know what this movie is about, by any chance!

I personally have been waiting for a long time for this movie to come out. Hubby and I are going to see it next weekend. There is a book that does goes with this movie. Well it is the book the father gave Caleb in the movie. It is called the love dare book. I urge any marry couple to see this movie!

Just a little fact about the movie.

No one got paid to do this movie! Well many of these ppl were volunteers and those that were paid like Kirk donated all his earnings to his charity. The Sherwood production who is responsible for this move is taking proceeds from the movie to build Sherwood's 82-acre public sports park in Albany GA-with walking trails, a fishing pond, horse stables and riding trails, tennis courts, baseball fields, and soccer fields. And they plan to do so much more for the community of Albany GA.
These are the same ppl who did Facing the giants. Which I haven't seen yet!

I saw him on the Today Show the other day. To stay faithful to his commitment to his wife she stood in as his wife in the movie during the kissing scene. It's in silhouette apparently. I think that is great!

I actually caught the cip while surfing the channels and stopping on Dr. Phil. He was working with a couple who's marraige had taken the exact same turns the one in the movie had. The husband was a cop and he was really struck by the similarity.

I think it's gonna be a good watch.

I am going to see this over the weekend! When i saw the clip for it last week, i thought, OH MY ...they made a movie about my ex hubby and i!! Could totally relate at first...he being the firefighter, we were married 7 yrs when things started to unravel!... looks to be an absolutely incredible story... ours didnt end quite the way i think this one ends, but WOW!! what a movie and an inspiration for anyone married... My first thought was, MAN, too bad none of his buddies gave him this same advice.... but, everything happens for a reason... I think this movie is good for those considering marriage, happily married, or on the brink of divorce!!
