Nights in Rodanthe

Anyone planning on seeing this movie?

I usually don't go to the movie theater but wait for the cd, but I LOVE the Outer Banks...........

This was a thought-provoking, tear jerk book, as I have found all of the Nicholas Sparks books.

But, after seeing "Time in a Bottle" and "A Walk to Remember", I will never go to another movie based on a Sparks book, they don't follow the story line - at all. (I did not - and will not - watch "The Notebook".)

Had I not already read this book, I would go see the movie based on the trailers I've seen. I'm sure the filming will be beautiful, most with the Outer Banks as the background.

AND Richard Gere - who needs talent when you've got that look? - that gogeous smile? - and now that he's gone gray?

The book Nights in Rodanthe was a tear-jerker and true Nicholas Sparks' movies do not follow the book's storyline as this movie was a little different to from the book.

But I thought the movie was good and even people coming out of it felt it was good love story.

As for Richard Gere - you couldn't help not to because he did look good and I thought he played the character well.
