"Sunshine" (1973 version)

SUNSHINE DVD 1973 Movie w' CHRISTMAS John Denver

"Sunshine" starring Cristina Raines and Cliff DeYoung. A beautiful but sad movie "Sunshine" based on tape recording journals by Jacquelyn M. Helton who died of bone cancer at age 20. . She left these recordings behind for her 2 year old daughter (Jill). First shown in 1973 and since has been remembered by many who would like to see it again.

I remember seeing it once in my childhood and the memory of it has stuck with my all of these years... I'm tempted to buy it again but I'm askeered it will be a disappointment. Has anyone seen it in the last decade or so?

I don't think I could watch it without going through 3 boxes of tissue. I've been watching my soap at lunchtime lately. One of the characters baby girls just passed away and I'm a sniveling idiot crying all over the place at 1pm monday through friday.

I've got "Hair" and still enjoy watching that when I pull it out of the "vault" and dust it off. I want to find "Summer of My German Soldier" too. I loved, loved, loved that movie.
