| Brothers - ugh Worst movie ever!! (Sorry, Christy) First of all, the trailer is a cheat. It leads you to believe the story is about a guy who is captured in Afghanistan, believed dead, and his brother and wife begin a romance, when - surprise! He shows back up. SPOILER: That's not what happens. The brother and wife kiss and that's it. However nobody bothers to inform the Marine of this when he asks. The wife gives him a half-ass, "We kissed and that's it," but doesn't reassure him at all. And the brother doesn't even answer the question, which would lead any normal person to believe that he and the wife were burning the sheets. Then the brat daughter, who needs her ass beat bad, screams at the Dad that Mommy and Uncle Tommy were having sex all the time. Nobody bothers to correct this - they just let it go. Meanwhile the wife is badgering her newly returned POW husband to discuss his captivity and "why he's so different now and what's bothering him." ![]() Only freakin' Hollywood could make such an unrealistic and out of touch dysfunctional movie. I could get past the huge house they live in and all their expensive furniture - he's a Marine Corporal, and we all know they make the rilly rilly big buckage And I could get past the fact that his whole family, parents AND brother, live near his duty station. And that apparently he's best pals with a Private under his command, which is ridiculous. But the human interplay was just too much to bear. However, I do have to give it to Tobey McGuire - who knew he had that kind of performance in him? The only real and believable actor in the whole movie, unless you count the little girls. Nice job, Tobey. ![]() I wish liberal idiots would stop trying to make war movies because they suck at it.

| Doesn't sound like a movie I want to see.

| I agree. I was even telling my husband this, that the movie is about a guy who guys to war, who they think is dead, so his wife and brother shack up and he returns. This movie is nothing like the trailer shows.
