Anyone seen Spongbob Movie?

My son wants to go see it and with the price of snacks, tickets, etc. I am thinking it is more of a rental. Reviews said it was good but I would rather hear if it is worth seeing and dropping coin on from the forum members.

I saw it.

What's more I saw it at the drive-in (WOO!). So, I finally let my kids talk at a movie, and they took the opportunity to give me a play-by-play of the entire movie as we watched it. ("Hey Dad! Spongebob is talking to Patrick!"; "Hey dad! Patrick put his pants back on!"; "Hey Dad! Squidward just yelled at Spongebob")

Now, assuming that you're seriously asking for a review of a Spongebob movie, here 'tis:

1) Your kids will love it.
2) If you like Spongebob, you'll like it.
3) Don't expect anything sophisticated.

Basically it's an hour and a half of typical Spongebob hijinks - but uninterrupted, and the hidden adult-oriented innuendos are more overt (but they still shoot right over the kids' heads, and they're not that bad to begin with).

If that's worth the price of a movie to you, go for it.

Having said that: If you're kids are of a more delicate constitution (or less tactfully speaking: if your kids are skeerdy-kats), there are a couple of parts that may be too intense for them toward the end, but I'd only worry about that if the child freaks out really easily.

Drive-Ins. I thought they had gone the way of the Ford LTD Station Wagon, and they run premiere movies! Cool.
