The Oscars

Personally, I think Russell Crowe got screwed out of his Best Actor.  But I'm not sorry Denzel won because he's turned in many a fine performance, just not for "Training Day".  Halle definitely deserved her Oscar!  But I get tired of everything having to do with race - you'd think they'd get bored with that after awhile.  I'm okay with "A Beautiful Mind" as Best Picture but could have made a case for "Lord of the Rings" as well.

Any comments or does anyone care?

Vrai, I haven't seen any of the Oscar movies other than Lord of the Rings and Training Day.  I liked them both.  I thought Halle Berry went a little overboard on her speach.  Thank goodness I was only semi-conscious during it, or I'd have probably thrown up!  

And I would like to know if there is anyone outside of Hollywood (well, let's say the movie industry) who watches these obscure "short films"?
