| Personally, I find any movie star, entertainer or musician who feels compelled to spew any political opinion (left, right or center) quite ridiculous. We've gone nuts when we take political opinions seriously from guys who wear makeup and pretend to be other people all day long. Just stick to the script, Alec Baldwin AND Charlton Heston. |

| How about Ronny Reagan, Fred Thompson, or the late Sonny Bono? All became elected officials and while I don't know much about what Sonny did Ronny and Fred are okay in my book.

| Ken, yeah but the difference is, Ronny, Fred, and Sonny took an active role in their "politics" rather than spewing a bunch of nonsense to Vanity Fair, Playboy, or whatever interview of the week they had. Know what I'm sayin?

| Christy, I know what you are saying, but it was the absolute statement of "I find any movie star, entertainer or musician who feels compelled to spew any political opinion (left, right or center) quite ridiculous. " Leave a little room for the exception and I couldn't agree more with you guys and gals.

| Ken, dude, you are in full lawyer mode today! If you cannot recognize a generality when you hear (see) one, that is your problem. And if you want to get ticky about it: by the time Sonny, Fred and Ronnie (not to mention Jesse) became public officials, their show biz careers were long over. You and Larry must have eaten out of the same cereal bowl this morning...

| !!!!!I knew you were going to say that! I told Larry, "Watch him come back with some remark about blondes..." Thank you for not disappointing me! That's how I can always tell I've won the argument - when my arguee starts in on blondes... ![]()

| The only difference between actors/actress expressing their opinions about political hobknobbing and "us" expressing our opinions is that they are famous and we are not.. We use forums to express ourselves - they use media - or rather media uses them.. |
