The Hill's Have Eyes

Has anyone seen it? I heard from two people it was really scary, but Rolling Stone Magazine gave it two stars. Wanted to go see it but wasn't sure if I should just wait.

It was alright. There was more gore than scare. I thought the ending was a bit too cheesy and theatrical myself.

I just watched the DVD, it was okay. I'm not a fan of horror movies that have babies in them. Just boils my blood to think of an infant in something like that.

Other than that, it was an alright film.

Thumbs up

It's decent. See it for the director's style and good performances, but only if you can tolerate its mindless plotting and mean-spirited core.

Director Alexandre Aja's previous film, High Tension, was much scarier and much, much more intelligent.

Did you watch the extras on the DVD? They talked about filming with the baby, and their concerns as well.
