Did you see the part after the credits? Apparently, Moira hears Xavier voice back at the island. Now, if you remember the lecture that Xavier was giving his students just before Storm starts playing with the weather, Xavier discusses the possibility of transplanting one's mind into a brain-dead person in order to sustain one's life.

So Xavier is alive somewhere and Scott's body was never found.

Holy Cow!
I was already out the door by then...

I guess I had a good idea then... I didn't see how there was any way they'd let Xavier just be killed off..

What do you think that will do in the next movie(hopefully)??
If Xavier comes back in Scott's body, will that mean possibly that Jean(whom I think is sooooo important to the story) could come back?
I really wanted Jean to end up with Logan.

Oooh, I'm excited all ready....
But why no Gambit?? Truth is, in the comics books, Rogue was waaaay older then Bobby.

Bobby Drake and Warren Worthington III were also part of the original X-men.

Wolverine is supposed to have his own movie in the making. X4 still has lots of potential though. There are sooo many characters to work with now. I do remember Gambit's real name was mentioned on the the previous movies. I'm sure they'll have Xavier, Scott and Jean back though.

Now keep in mind I haven't seen this yet, but am dying to...

Professor X is an incredibly powerful telekinetic. He could easily have whisked himself and Cyclops anywhere he wanted to. And as far as Jean Grey goes, in the comic books anyway, she came back as The Phoenix. If they want to bring her back, they could simply kill the Phoneix , setting her free again or something.

And as a punch line, as long as Wolverine lives, X Men continues. I love Wolverine.

Oh yeah, I read an article with Hugh Jackman (Wolverine) the other day online, where he said his wife likes him to wear his Wolverine 'getup" (pun intended! LOL) in the bedroom....and they both get a big 'thrill' out of it....whew!...what a lucky chick....

That is what I am doing to myself for leaving before the credits rolled. I saw it on Saturday night with my darling hubby. I LOVED it.

I thought this movie rocked the body that rocks the party.

WTF happened to Nightcrawler? Did he go back to the circus or something?

I would have liked to have seen some other XMen who didn't make the cut. Gambit, Psylocke and Emma Frost for instance. (I think that one brotherhood girl was Psylocke, but I'm not sure) There was an acceptable amount of Beast in the movie and I'm glad they emphasized his character more than his mutation.

I would have like to have seen Blob as well. I thought that big fat guy at the brotherhood meeting was Blob, until he made himself thin. Most definitely not Blob.

I'm glad that Iceman became ICEMAN even if it was only for about 5 seconds. I would have liked to have seen him skating on his on-the-fly ice floes too, but I guess we can't have it all. Cool confrontation between him and Pyro.

Not enough Collosis. And as far I can tell, he didn't sound Russian : but that fits with everyone else who were Middle-Americanized for the movies.

Juggernaut rocked. But if I remember correctly, he wasn't a mutant in the comics. Just a big badass ( I think his brother was a mutant though, or something like that ).

Angel went absolutely nowhere. Why was he even in this movie?

Did I see Toad creeping along a wall for just a second there?

All in all - wicked cool movie.

When my kiddo heard him speak, she yelled out,"OMG mom! That's Frasier!"

Do you still watch Spiderman and His Amazing Friends? I always loved that cartoon.

I agree, it was like filler so they could have another scene to flip to. I imagine he and his Dad will have an expanded roll in the next movie, showing his father coming to terms with his mutation and accepting mutants as a part of life.
