Happy Feet

Chicklet and I went and saw this today. It was very cute, but ran a tad bit long for the kids. If you are one that flinches at heights, there were several scenes where I had to look away.

I took the kids to see Deck the Halls. It was totally cheesy but the girls enjoyed it, My son and I were almost snoring though.

I'd have rather seen Happy Feet.

Bug was getting bored towards the end and was asking when it would be over.

I've heard Happy Feet gets a bit kooky for the last act and there's a tonal shift. True?

My kids went with their grandparents to see it today and they said the same thing. Kids asked to leave before it was over.

I have just one word for this: adorable. First coming with the dude that voiced Tommy Pickles in the beginning. Then I noticed that Brittany Murphy's character has an awesome singing voice is that her real voice? then Robin Williams lends his voice to two characters (that's something new) then after I left the theater I noticed that Steve Irwin lent his voice in it too that I didn't see coming.

The voice of Tommy Pickles belongs to a chick not a dude

Did you know they are already working on the sequel? It's a darker story than the first one. Global warming is going to kill off all the penguins.
