| It was well-crafted and thought-provoking, but way too rushed. It needed more character development. Hugh Jackman and Rachel Weisz were both great, though, and did their best with thin concepts-posing-as-characters. |

Also, in my opinion... Neither the past nor present truly occurred. The past, following the conquistador, were the initial chapters in the wife's novel. The conquistador represents her husband, searching for the cure. And the future is the last chapter by the husband, with the astronaut representing him coming to terms with his grave loss. At least this is what I thought. I found the film very moving and well-made. Guess this is the kind people either LOVE or HATE. lol | |
