Apocalypto

http://apocalypto.movies.go.com/

I wanna see it. From what I hear it relays the idea that even in the ancient cultures human beings can create and sustain evil through the masses... and good still remains all the while...interesting...hmmm...

Do you think it is contraversial to go see it with everything that is going on with Gibson? Is that going to make you think twice about going at all? I'm torn about it myself. It looks great but can I am torn.

I want to see it....but I have to go by myself. My husband and my daughter are not too crazy about any movie that has any type of death or gore in it.

No

I do my best to separate art from the artist. The film seems great, I'll see it, despite the fact Mel Gibson made obviously regrettable comments.

Well I really was angry by what he had said however it is a movie right? I want to see it but feel like that makes me a hypocrite in a way.

That is a great point. The actors in the film look amazing..can you believe they are just normal people that had never acted before? That was a pretty novel idea.
