As Good As It Gets

Whoever scripted this movie should have to move to Uzbekistan and never be allowed to speak the English language again.

Under penalty of death.

I love Helen Hunt's character. Everyone else sucks.

Terrible movie. The dog was the best character.

I thought it was just an alright movie too... The scenes where she cries is carried way too long.

Receptionist: How do you write women so well?
Melvin Udall: I think of a man, and I take away reason and accountability.

Melvin Udall: Oh, you were talking about your dog. I thought you were referring to that colored man inside your apartment.
Simon Bishop: Uh, what color would that be?
Melvin Udall: Like uh, like thick MO-lasses.

How is that not funny?

I didn't care for it too much. And the crying fit was just down right annoying. I wanted to stuff her mouth with wash cloths so she would shut up.

It's a chick flick. Do you really expect great writing? Why should they spend good money for good writing when they know they will make huge $$$ with their mediocre story/acting/directing?
