My sister has seen it three times! So my guess is it's pretty good. I haven't watched it myself though. On other message boards I go to the people are crazy over it so you should enjoy it

It's a great movie. Jennifer Hudson will blow your mind. The audience I saw Dreamgirls with on Christmas Day erupted with applause after her performance of "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going." Eddie Murphy also did a great job, maybe the best performance of his career.

It's better than most recent movie musicals, including Chicago, The Phantom of the Opera, The Producers, and Rent.

I agree!! I was blown away by Jennifer Hudson's sheer talent -- her voice is awesome. What a gift. We, too, broke into applause and cheers at the end of "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" -- during it, I think everyone in the theater was holding their breath!!

Very awesome performance by Jennifer Hudson. Beyonce definitely had Diana Ross down. Eddie Murphy was a joke but I agree his talent was evident. Jamie Foxx was sexy as ever and so was Mr. Danny Glover who when I saw him on screen I almost broke out into a song myself. "Mister, you been on my mind..".

It's going in the collection.
