| Prone to hyperinactivity | Seems well-crafted... but I wonder why he chose to remake the original instead of adding a new one. Remakes have a way of going straight into the crapper.

| At least he's not doing a shot-for-shot redo, the way Gus Van Sant did with Psycho, which was a bizarre choice resulting in a boring, pale imitation of the classic. Having read a draft of Rob Zombie's Halloween script, I can say, for most of it, it's different from the John Carpenter original. He, for better or worse, concentrates on turning Michael Myers into a character instead of simply 'the Shape.' |

| He'll never live up to the original. I just hope it's better than the last five.

| Watching Michael Myers' bowel movement would be better (and far scarier) than the last film, Halloween: Resurrection. Ugh, it was terrible. I hope whoever cast Busta Rhymes was fired. |

| Rob Zombie is a fanboy just like the rest of us, so I think he will do right by the franchise. |

![]() Didn't Donald Pleasance perish in one of the films and in real life as well?
