Half-decent flick; good enough for at least a rental. Hillary Swank turns in another sweet performance (Million Dollar Baby). The special effects are very neat, especially the locust scene. The film seemed somewhat believeable until the ending. The ending scenes seemed a little too far fetched, but hey it's Hollywood.

Lovely picturesque scenery of the Louisiana swamplands and a half-decent plot help the story flow. If you're squimish I wouldn't watch; a little gore and a few jumps are in store as with any Hollywood thriller/horror film these days.

Overall a 7ish out of 10 for me.

I thought it was great entertainment. Hilary Swank gave a good performance, as did Idris Elba and AnnaSophia Robb. And the visual effects were top-notch.
