Well, if it's some six year old, fine, or if it is a truly awesome piece, fine. Past that, in this day and age, with guitar tabs and youtube, even hack players like me can look and sound good by simply practicing a given piece enough. For crying out loud, you can even find the exact preset for your amp sim.

10 years ago, same piece is a bit more impressive, you gotta have the ear and the skill and the talent to figure out ALL the notes, how they're played, be able to tweak your amp and stomp boxes, etc; you had to figure it out as opposed to being SHOWN everything, every step.

I wish people would just ####ing do an original piece.
