| Excellent points. I especially liked the "switches positions faster than Jenna Jameson" I have to go retrieve the gum I spit across the room now before someone steps on it.

| The important thing to remember about Liberals like Kerry is that they think there are more people who think like they do than there really are. Limbaugh has repeatedly said that Liberals cannot win if they run as Liberals, they must run as Moderates, and for now that's how Kerry and his ilk are trying to portray him as. I think it's great that Kerry is getting so much attention and is doing well in the polls. For the past four years, a lot of Democrats have thought that the reason they've been losing elctions is that they are not Liberal enough... that they don't offer a clear enough alternative to the Republicans. They don't see that most people disagree with their opinions. Since Kerry has been sooooooo Liberal over the years I would guess it's about killing him to deny his true beliefs for the sake of appearing to be Moderate. I would bet he's just dying to come out and share his real beliefs with Americans. At this point in the election, if Kerry were down in the polls, the Democrats would be using the Moderate playbook. As Kerry does better and better at the polls, I think there is more of a feeling with the Democrats to push their views further and further left... after all, 49% of Americans must agree with the direction that Kerry is headed even though they know his leanings. So maybe those who say the Democratic candidate needs to be as Liberal as possible might be right after all. I think that the longer Kerry is doing well in the polls, the more likely he'll be to show his true colors. There are a lot of Democrats who want to see Bush lose, but they're smart enough to know what having a President as Liberal as Kerry would mean to business and the economy. That's what will win the election for Bush. |

| Conservatives Lawdy, Lawdy, where to begin. I don't like Kerry, that is for sure, but I don't like Bush either. I think today's politics will last for this election and then die out. Those of us in the younger generation don't believe in this belly-whooing. It is all garbage. And when will Limbaugh ever get a real job? Jesse Jackson and him should join forces. Let's be real people. Being moderate is the only way a real politician will get elected, beit Democrat or Republican. I sure don't want the christian coalition dictating their fanaticism into my laws, and I don't want conservatives telling me who I can or cannot marry. On the same line, I don't want liberal democrats telling me that America can't drill for oil somewhere because of a rare frog. We have oil, its in Alaska, drill for it, lessen our dependancy on foriegn oil. And I think Bush is not a great leader, no matter where his degree came from. Instead of being far right, or far left, the only people that really see things correctly are those of us going straight down the middle of the road. But, even we have to watch for oncoming traffic. ![]()
