MVA w/ Motorcycle / Rt. 235 & Exploration Drive

MVA reported to involve a motorcycle. Fire/ EMS being dispatched.

0734: County Unit on the scene. 2 Vehicles invloved. 1 Motorcycle and one vehicle.

0744: Motorcycle reported to have minor front end damage. Owner reqested nearest reliable tow service. So he must be conscious.

Does not appear to be anything serious.

Traffic reported by police to be flowing but the left hand turn lanes to the base are not moving.

0752: From what I am hearing I don't think any party is serious enough to be transported by EMS.

Whenever you post MVA, I think that you are talking about the Motor Vehicle Administration.

Yep, It's just another acronym. It's heard quite often on the Scanner. I use it as a way to show what the incident is and still have room to put the general location in the subject title

I thought that too, until I met friends running ambulance crew. Then MVA took on a new meaning.

Traffic was backup up to San Souci at 7:50, don't know what it looks like now.

I think they have more officers up there now directing traffic. I am sure it should not be a major traffic foul up. They were on it pretty fast. And if the Motorcycle had minor front end damage I would assume he rearended the car. So the car was likely still drivable and could get moved. They may have even been able to move the bike outta the way before the tow truck gets there.

There was also an accident on 4 (south bound) between upper and lower Pindell Rds around 0630. Any idea what that was? For some reason it had the north bound traffic all clogged up too (probably just rubber-neckers). There was a motorcycle and a pickup sitting in the median.

No I was at work at that time and it's my busier time of the day so I did not catch anything on that incident. Sorry.
