The link worked for me. Apparantly a law has now been passed banning Cyber Harrassment. Also, the parents who set up the bogus web site were getting harrassed so badly - house spray painted , phone calls, etc that they had no peace of mind at all.

While tragic is the other family really responsible for the teen, hanging herself or are you pissed cause I posted in your thread that maybe SOMD Online has a few Sock Puppets of our own ?

Bullying while annoying and emotionally hard dealing with as a teen are hard (I know I was the funny kid that wore glasses in elementary and was a Ghost in the Halls in the 9th Grade, I could not go around one neighbor hood cause there was this fat bastard bullying me) ... I got passed it and moved on - figuratively and physically ( moved houses ) - but thats life growing up

Obviously this woman ( Lori Drew ) was a petty mean spirited ##### to to create a Myspace to see what Megan was "saying" about her daughter after the 2 girls had a falling out (sounds like Lori was more concerned about her daughters reputation) ........... then sending the messages about the world being better off with out her ....... I would consider this malicious and hateful intent, and yeah if it went on for more than a day or so maybe cyber-bullying
but we never hear if Megan told "josh" aka Lori Drew to stop sending the messages only that she got in a fight with her mom about language used to response and computer usage, the next thing is she had hung herself.


Should Lori Drew (who was an adult and should have known better, and seemed more interested in her daughters Reputation and perhaps her own, or family Rep) be keel hauled for sending hateful and cruel messages to an emotionally troubled teen, maybe knowing it would send her "over the edge" leading to Megan's Suicide, maybe prosecuted under any number of Child Predator Laws as suggested here:

it would seem "Karma" and payback are a ##### as the Drew's have been ostracized by their neighbors losing jobs and business .... facing numerous death threats, vandalism of home .... causing the local police to expend resources patrolling the neighbor hood
