Gore Did/Does Drugs?

I never heard this about Gore before. Maybe it explains why he acts so goofy. I thought he just became deranged after he got spanked in the election.

...commonly accepted that Gore spent Vietnam behind a typewriter huffing weed and is no stranger to other drugs.

Gore's behavior is more an indictment of having spent a life as a spoiled rich kid used to the trappings of wealth and power and access and then having lived his entire life in that environment than it is to drugs.

...there're some classic clips of prince Albert back in the day railing at a crowd in Tennessee about how he done "Grow'd it, harvested it, dried it..." and so on and so forth during a campaign, arguing his pro tobacco bone fides.

He came out against tobacco and against pro life and all sorts of things after he won national office.

Gore is like all really, really bad politicians; they are very, very passionate and convincing about their principles, no matter how new they may be, no matter how contradictory to last weeks position.

Yup. He's also been surrounded by yes-men his whole entire life (with the exception of when he was Clinton's yes-man) and is so completely out of touch with the average American he might as well be from outer space.

A least on these boards! Darn, folks get passionate on both sides about that issue.

If Al Gore's Daddy had been Joe Jones, Al would probably still be sitting on a tobacco farm somewhere. Al Gore is a product of political nepotism, just as the Kennedy kids.

He was elected to office because of his Daddy, not because of any brilliance Al showed.
Brilliance??? LMAO

...he was elected on his own merits as the people who voted for him saw them. You think that through because no one bought or gave him that office. The people CHOSE him. Make of that what you will, but he was voted in.

Do you think W would be where he is if it weren't for his Dad? The Rangers, Gov, or Pres.
