I'm glad you corrected me on the station. I knew that was Nickelodeon but the computer just insisted on typing Disney. Hate it when that happens! I was only joking about the rampage - well, sort of. For me that counts as a rampage!

Celebrities are different than us. Most of us, if our 16 year old daughter came home and announced she was moving in with her boyfriend, we'd shave her head for her (haha! An inadvertent Britney joke!). Mama Spears doesn't appear to have those sort of qualms, the way she's pushed those girls into the limelight and encouraged young Britney to take her clothes off for money.

Of course they seem wholesome and normal in interviews - anyone can seem sane when all they have to do is spew bullcrap to the willing media. Shoot, Hillary Clinton wrote a book describing sweet little domestic scenes of her making breakfast for Bill and making sure he bundled up before he went out on the cold. You can't believe the PR these people put out.

That's why I scoff at celebrity worship, because those people are insane and definitely NOT role-models.

Good point. Does anyone have any idea how many pregnant teens I have seen in the tri county area? Plenty. i am not saying it is right, it just happens even with the best parents.

Plus really, who cares? way too much other stuff going on to worry about spears kids. When and why did we all get so obessed with celebs?

As women we give up so much of ourselves emotionally when we have sex that we really lose a part of ourselves that we can never get back. I regret giving away myself in relationships that I knew were never go to lead anywhere. Especially with some of the losers I dated. I honestly think that Jamie Spears mother never talked to her girls and only saw dollar signs. But on the other hand I can't believe that teenages are so naive these days to think that if you have unprotected sex you won't get pregnant. Even I knew that.
No effing way. You are placing way too much on a thin piece of skin. Wake up. Saving yourself for your husband?

As women we give up so much and lose a part of us that we cant get back? What exactly is that? Sex is a normal thing to do. It is a pleasurable thing to do.

Naybe they did practice safe sex and the rubber broke? Shoiat happens. I am not saying that teens should go out an boink their little heads off but at 16 or older most are going to have sex. It is just part of life.

Hoepfully they will use protection with back up protection. But people it is still just sex.

Why? We should be responsible for what goes on in our lives. Sure kids look up to her. She is still a good actress, and from what I have heard a pretty good singer too. That does not change being pregnant.

It is not up to the celebs to be role models for our kids. We as parents should be role models for our kids.
