I remember when my wife saw a one eyed snake in the Xmas tree, she beat it with a bat. I guess she didn't find it as funny as I did.

I noticed a 6-7 inch long lizard in my Christmas tree as I was bringing it in the house one year in Hawaii. Didn't see him again till we took it back out a month later.

Are there lizards in Hawaii? I remember geckos.
The Hawaiian animal authorities would have had their panties in a wad if they knew a lizard made it over.

We had a tree erupt in baby spiders one year. That was fun. Everybody got to do the "spider dance".

Have heard of this:
XMas morning it looked like the tree was moving, on close inspection it was spiders moving, not the tree.
Threw it out the front door - ornaments and all!!!

That wasn't a snake, it was a worm.
