MD Citizens should fight to ban state lottery

Your chances of winning MD lottery are as good as getting struck by lighting it's a scam and a pyrimid were thousands of people loses their hard earned pay daily.and scrach off tickets are the biggest scam in Maryland.
Some state lotteries are single-state, however most states participate in multi-state lotteries. Multi-state lotteries generally have larger jackpots due to the greater number of tickets sold. The Mega Millions, Hot Lotto, and Powerball games are the biggest multi-state lotteries in terms of numbers of participating states. Florida is the only lottery state that does not take part in a multi-state game.

Only eight states do not sell lottery tickets:

Alabama
Alaska
Arkansas
Hawaii
Mississippi
Nevada
Utah
Wyoming

I've been fighting the MD lottery all my life - by never buying a ticket for something that's a guaranteed waste of what little money I actually have.

Actually, that's not true: I bought a ticket once after I turned 18, just 'cause I could. I'm at work right now, so you see how that turned out for me.

although I agree in shutting down the state lottery, my reasons are more because it would be a slap in Omalleys face and, Im tired of waiting in a line to pay for my coffee or my gas while pookie or pookette stands there and wastes everyones time while getting the tickets.

now, like I said I agree with you, but as far as your getting hit by lightning remark.

its been 4 years for me now since I got cracked. Maybe I should play?
