I firmly believe their are VERY FEW bad officers. However, the fact remains that there ARE bad officers. The level of authority granted to law enforcement officers means a single bad officer can do a great deal of harm. The lack of means to IDENTIFY the one bad officer in a group of two hundred causes citizens to look on all officers a little more carefully.

The uniform does not bring credit or curse to the individual, the individual brings credit or curse to the uniform.

The BLUE LINE shields the bad police officers from being prosecuted .... like any good UNION protecting its own from judgment of outsiders .... you can not judge me, you don't know how tough my JOB is ....

I enforce the law, I do not have to be subject to them
