Iraq returns to Normal

Wasn't there a scheduled pullout of U.S. soldiers about this point of time? I heard the other day they're stopping some sort of pullout of some 50,000-100,000 forces or something.

In other words, the terrorists are making a stand when we pullout.

What I'm trying to say, forestool, is that we should stay until we've ridden Iraq of these terrorists so we can safely pullout. The Generals have been saying for YEARS, that if we pullout troops on a schedule, the terrorists will accelerate activities.

No, no... we must elect Obama and get us out of there. The place must be in chaos. We must have more ammo to blame on Bush. We must guarantee the whole thing is a failure. Then the libs plan will be complete. Then they can send us back in to clean it up and deem Obama our hero.

They're not terrorists. They are the Mahdi army; they shiites who want us out and are fighting the government that doesn't represent them. the major reason why any success of the surge can be claimed is that they were under a cease fire since last summer. well, they got tired of being shot at, but not being able to shoot back. so their game is back on.

Any group can cause enough trouble for a week before a full response is brought about...

He probably doesn't want a full scale war, but his followers need a little action now and then to prove they aren't pVssys. If they didn't get some now and then, they would follow a new leader that would give them what they want.

What I find absurd about your whole take on this is, when there was success in the surge you were silent. A few skirmishes pop up and you're ready to jump on it claiming the surge is a failure. There are always setbacks. There will be times where violence erupts. Sort of like in Washington DC. But you operate with a political ignorance that has an agenda and not interested in what's best or the truth.

It struck me as a bit out of the ordinary that you fixated on the motions of the teenager's genitals as it appears that you do.

Thank you for your paternal advice regarding my education, however I really feel it applies more to you than to others, especially the last sentence.
