Cows and Global Warming

Livestock is responsible for 65% of a less publicized Greenhouse Gas - NO2 - that warms the planet 296 times more than CO2. In addition, livestocks "Natural Emissions" produce Methane, which warms the planet 23 times as much as CO2.

The effect of every car never driving again being negligable to the overall "global warming" issue is really the point, though. Spin the "need" to drive all you want, the effect is insignificant in comparrison.

What I was saying was that the info on the generation of greenhouse gases by the world's bovine population is old news. I remember them talking about that back in the 70s during the infamous "energy crisis". It was ignored then, it's being ignored now.
