I don't know it to be senationalist. Bob says he knows differently, I'm asking him to prove it. Call it what you will.

"Some are like that" doesn't imply that they are. What's retarded is you attempting to come to Bob's rescue with giving nothing of substance to help him out. I shouldn't have to read it for myself, Bob made the claim, let him put up or shutup.

you wouldn't accept what bob has to say anyway, a smarter person would go read for themself.

Look, if Bob says that the pro-lifers are quoting out of context then he must know differently by having read all of Sanger's stuff, correct? He accused Libby and myself of being ignorant and parroting out of context quotes, so he can be the one to enlighten us by printing out Sanger's quotes in their entirety. Until he does we have no real reason to believe that any of those quotes are out of context anyway. If he's right he will put up or shutup.

So far, Bob has shutup. Do you know why? I suspect it's because he's talking out of his azz, but he's more than welcome to prove me wrong on that suspicion.

So, since I have your attention Tommy, do you think Margaret Sanger was a racist and a proponent of eugenics?

i have not read enough for myself to make that determination. What i have seen from your side is obviously slanted though.

and bob probably hasn't responded becasue he is either busy or he has realized you are a supertard.

You mean, like an atheist pulling quotes out of context of the Bible to make people believe it teaches something other than what it actually teaches?

Fair enough. I'm not sure how "obvious" the slant is though.

Maybe, maybe not.

all you had to do was read.

if the quotes were full and not so choppy it would be easier for you to argue that point. the fact that most only had 2 or 3 words directly attribute to her should tell you all you need to know.

Besides, planned parenthood is a good thing, birth control is a good thing, abortion is debateable, but if you read you will see that planned parenthood isn't all about abortions, otherwise it would be called planned abortion wouldn't it?

I went ahead and did some extra reading of Sanger's articles, and found nothing to disprove that she was a racist of the worst kind. Even some who defend the outcome of PP agree that MS is indefensible.
As R1 said many posts ago, a few quotes taken out of context might be reason to accuse pro-lifers of hysteria, but not all of her own writings, and those in her Birth Control Journal (hmm..I'm pretty sure that was the title.)
I do not hold Sanger personally accountable for the behavior of today's Planned Parenthood, however as a society we should look at PP with a much more critical eye in light of the reported events.
It is a fact that PP has gained for itself a reputation for altruism, and it is going to be a difficult task to reveal the truth of their practices, from racism to failure to report crimes.
