Besides, planned parenthood is a good thing, birth control is a good thing, abortion is debateable, but if you read you will see that planned parenthood isn't all about abortions, otherwise it would be called planned abortion wouldn't it?

The url I posted isn't the only place the quotes come from, and in fact, isn't the source that Bob was arguing against, but anyway...

Some birth control is good and some isn't. Some are considered abortificients the way they work i.e. IUD. I'm not trying to get into a debate about that, just sayin'.

You're right, PP isn't all about abortions; however, they do perform them frequently and get my tax dollars to do so, so I have an issue with that. I also question an organization that was founded by a woman, dead or not, who was a proponent of racism and eugenics.

Tommy, are we done here yet because I have some other things I really need to get to today.

i wonder how they did that. It couldn't have been by helping people in need could it?

nobody is making you read my posts,

and you really need to try independant thinking, birthcontrol is not abortion, and abortion is not birth control, they are two very different things.

I've agreed with everything you have said, pretty much, but abortion CAN definitely be considered a "last resort" birth control. It is prevention of birth, thus, controlling the occurance. Just saying.

Carry on (like I said, most other things I agreed with you on lol)

Maybe, maybe not.
I can give you obvious...

On blacks, immigrants and indigents:
"...human weeds,' 'reckless breeders,' 'spawning... human beings who never should have been born." Margaret Sanger, Pivot of Civilization, referring to immigrants and poor people

The author says these quotes are about "blacks, immigrants, and indigents..

Yet within the quotes there is NO mention of any of the above.

"Human weeds.. reckless breeders.. spawning (snip) human beings who never should have been born.. "

No mention of race, religion or immigration status in ANY of the quotes from Sanger, but the person spreading the hate has injected.. "referring to immigrants and poor people" Interesting how in the beginning it's about "Blacks, immigrants and indigents", but in the end it's only about immigrants and poor people.

Now if Sanger DID mention race, religion or immigration status don't you think they would have included it in their quote?? If so, whey didn't they? Trying to save the space of an additional 1, 2 or 3 words?

There is a racist present, I don't think it was Sanger.

if you go ask your doctor for birthcontrol you dont get an abortion, and if you go ask for an abortion you dont get birthcontrol.

there is a difference.

I wonder what the doctor would say if you asked for birthcontrol AFTER being preggo though?

Just a thought

I knew what you meant, I was just knitpicking. (is it knit or nit pick?)
