| Some dining atmospheres don't lend themselves to screaming kids. The owner may lose business from it, either by necessity or principle, but it seems to me it's his/her choice to run the restaurant the way he/she wants. ![]()

The government is supposed to intervene and establish a law that states "no children under 6" permitted. I'd prefer no one under 21, but there ya' go.

That said, business owners should have to right to refuse service to anyone they want, for any reason.

| I like it. I can take my family to the places that want to serve us. mAlice can go to the kid free places. And it didn't even take government intervention. It's amazing what the free market can do when they are allowed to do it. |

I guess what would bother me is if it's a restaurant that we had been going to for a while and then one day to show up and suddenly not be allowed in. Last edited by terbear1225 : 05-09-2008 at 12:59 PM. | |

| Ha, he would have taken me! Sort of like roller coasters, "Unless you are as tall as this sign, no food for you!" |

| No, we tried that with smoking, remember? The non-smokers didn't like the option of going to non-smoking restaurants. So I suspect someone will complain about this business owner's decision and file a discrimination lawsuit.
