I am assuming you are referring to me… Please show me a post in which I have “championed a criminal & excused their behavior”. All I’ve said about that situation is that NO ONE (criminal or non-criminal) deserves a thread belittling and degrading them after their death. These people have family and friends that are mourning. Wow… It’s funny how words get twisted around here!

Honestly, had you and others just let it go instead of trying to make excuses and say what a great guy he was (which you did do), it wouldn't have gone as far as it did. His family is certainly mourning, but they should have thought about that when he was alive and they could have done something to influence his behavior. He might not be dead now.

Sorry, sis, but that's the way it is.

Oh did I really, I find that hard to believe considering I didn't even know the young man... Please find me the post in which I said what a great guy he was...

What I did say is this "I find this thread both outrageous and appalling to say the least! Reading these ignorant and narrow-minded comments makes me embarrassed that I was a Charles County resident for 23 years… I personally did not know the young man so it’s not for me to say whether or not he was a “good” or “bad” person. Yes, he was a young man that may have made some bad decisions but, is that worth a 9 page thread of nothing but comments ridiculing and belittling him from a group of people that had never heard of him until reading an article in the newspaper?"

Please do your research before telling me what I have and have not said! Fyi.. I'm not being rude.

You should check your history books about the Democratic party and race.

Okay, I apologize - I can't keep track of all the players.

But the rest of it stands. If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem. Which is not to say people like Baja aren't part of the problem as well (in fact, they are a LARGE part of the problem). But they get their strange ideas from somewhere - they're not just manufactured out of thin air.

You look at how blacks are represented in the media, and not even by whites, but by other blacks with their gangsta culture and all that crap. Then you see so many young black men and women throwing their lives away on drugs and crime, abandoning their children, giving off their attitude. Then they say they're "keepin' it real" but that's not reality for most people, regardless of their color.

Yet what do blacks get out of the deal? They put people like Martin O'Malley in office, and what do they get for their vote? Because so far I haven't seen any return from the Democrats.

In some ways I feel as though the world is caught in a vicious cycle. Over and over I see the tendencies for people to make the same claims about being judged based on race and I also see people still judging based on race. Not all people still do these things, but a large number do IMO. The media is all over things like this girl threatening an elderly woman on a bus. We know about many times things like this have happenened but what is being done about it? The media eats it up when it is a "hate crime" of white on black and that is not meant to be racist. Where are most of the "positive" reports? Rarely put in the public eye. Those don't sell as well. Would there be a thread in here if this girl had been sitting down beside the elderly lady offering to help her get her yard cleaned up or to escort her from her bus stop to her home so she wouldn't have to walk alone?

Will Do! My statement was IMO not fact. But, I will take you up on that because I'd be interested in understanding the "relationship" between the two.

How is it ignorant or narrow minded to comment and state our opinions on a bulletin board (created for comments) about a POS with a rap sheet so long you have to scroll to read it all?? We didn't make up anything. Everything posted was true.

Facts are facts hunney. He made his bed and we commented on it. He was a dreg on society and thank gawd he offed himself so we didn't have to foot the bill for his meals and home the rest of his life. He wasn't worth it.

His friends and/or family decided to pop in and say what an upstanding young man he was and were quickly and efficiently rebuffed.

As the ole cliche says, if you can't stand the heat.........
