You either don't live in Maryland or you're on welfare

You can write a letter to NHTSA for an exemption:

But i will conceed that i haven't heard of a bunch of these cases. However i do know they make the passenger side disable-able because they can be dangerous to children, and i guess from what you are saying, tiny women too.

I still am not worried about the breathlyzers, it aint gonna happen.

BTW, in case you didn't notice, we lost the right to drink and drive a long time ago.
Seriously? I died on impact. I did die. I was dead. And again, if it had not been for a team of paramedics that did not give up on me, I probably would still be dead. I was brought back at the hospital. The paramedics, by not stopping their attempts to save me, gave me that chance to be here right now. Just so I can say you, if you willingly keep surrending your rights to live free, you might as well roll over and die. It may be illegal to drink and drive, but I choose as someone who has never had a DUI or any such offense, to not have another device placed on my car against my free will. To order me to do so, violates my freedom of choice. It also presumes that everybody is guilty. Our judicial system is based upon innocent until proven guilty. The car breathalyzer being mandated is not only a loss of freedom, but also a loss of civil liberty. If we all stand idly by while it passes, then we are as guilty of Socialism as the next person and the American dream will be officially dead.

I did and they told me to supply them with a statement from my doctor certifying my height, weight, and arm reach. I had to pay extra for that btw. Anyway, once I did that then they told me I had to write my congressmen and ask for him to sponsor me so that I could get a vote held on getting the airbag removed. I got a nice signed letter thanking me for being a constituent.

Just curious...because you don't talk to a lot of "dead at one point" people...do you remember anything from when you were "on the other side"?
