I pictured people not even pulling over

Like, an alarm goes off and says "please blow into tube within 15 seconds or your engine will shut off" and then it counts down. No time to stop in traffic so the driver has to lean down to the tube and blow while driving

you do not have to pull over to effectively give a sample. You do have to drive with one hand similar to being on a cell phone.

The overall technology is not yet that dependable, for long term use, as in the life of an automobile.

I've never seen the interlock systems I assumed they were on the dash or somewhere in that area.

its a tube you breath into. what part is so hard, you breath when you drive anyway, and its no more difficult than changing a CD or answering the phone.

(one of the guys in my building had one in both of his vehicles)
